Creative production for a commercial trade marketing refresh

The problem

A Perth commercial plumbing and roofing company needed a visual content library that could support its website and wider marketing. The existing site did not properly show the team, the scale of the work or the working environment.

The challenge was to coordinate what the marketing and web teams needed with what could realistically be captured on active trade sites. The final content needed to feel credible, practical and specific to the business.

What I did

As Digital Producer, I led creative production and coordinated the marketing, web, client and production requirements. I worked with department heads to turn everyday jobs into shootable scenarios that would give the business useful website and marketing content rather than a collection of disconnected images.

I set the visual direction, built the Pinterest moodboard, wrote the shot list and prepared the production sheet. I planned for drone work, difficult lighting, PPE compliance and an orderly site, then directed the shoot alongside the videographer. The half-day production covered roof plumbing, backflow, under-sink work, sewer-drain CCTV inspection, stormwater, team portraits and vehicle imagery.

On the day, I worked with the client to exchange part of the original photo scope for five short videos without changing the package. I then managed review rounds, consolidated photo and video feedback into one Lightroom gallery and briefed the final retouch corrections before handover.

The result

The project delivered five short-form videos and a retouched photo set in August 2026. The client later updated staff images on its website.

The content was planned for website updates and ongoing marketing use. I do not claim traffic, enquiry or engagement improvements because those figures were not available in the project records. Final photos and videos are not shown here while portfolio permission is pending.
