Case study A Perth pool and spa servicing company

Planning photography for a pool-service website launch

I led creative production for a new website launch, coordinating the marketing, web and shoot requirements into a photography plan that showed the real team, services and work.

The problem

A new website for a Perth pool and spa servicing company needed photography that could carry its marketing messages and support the claims on each page. The site needed to show the real team, workshop, vans and pool work in time for launch.

The challenge was to make creative production useful to the marketing and web teams, rather than treating photography as a separate job. Each frame needed a clear purpose on the website and had to work with the page layout it was planned for.

What I did

As Digital Producer, I led creative production and coordinated the marketing direction, website requirements, client team and shoot logistics. I audited all 19 image slots across the Home, Services and About pages, recording the image ratio and the claim each image needed to support.

I built a shot list of 38 frames across six ratio families, so the web team would have the right content for each page without forcing one image into multiple crops. I used Claude to help shape the first runsheet from the client photoshoot conversation, strategy brief and development site, then reviewed and refined it against the actual marketing need and website visual language.

I planned the two-location shoot in detail, including pool-light conditions, contingency priorities, staff allocation, releases and a privacy sweep. I ran the shoot day, managed client image selections, topped up the selected set so every website slot was covered, and briefed the retoucher before handing the final photos to the web team.

The result

Real photography was delivered for the new website launch in October 2026. The final set gave the marketing and web teams images that matched the business, its people and the claims being made across the site.

I do not claim traffic, enquiry or performance changes because that data was not included in the available records. The final photography is not shown here while portfolio permission is pending.
