Case study Solar Care

Solar Care — brand, website strategy and launch

I took a Perth solar maintenance start-up from a base logo to a launch-ready website, bringing strategy, production, QA and technical setup together.

The problem

Solar Care was a new Perth solar maintenance and repair business with a base logo, but no clear brand or web presence. The founders needed a conversion-focused landing page quickly so they could start handing out flyers and running advertising.

The positioning needed to make the difference clear: Solar Care was a repair-first specialist for existing solar owners, not another sales-led installer.

What I did

As producer and strategist, I wrote the website strategy, core brand messages, audience segments, keyword mapping, user-journey approach and future sitemap. I also wrote the content that framed the brand strategy and worked with the designer through logo, guideline and landing-page feedback.

I built an AI-coded prototype with Claude Code that became the starting point for the production build. During delivery, I coordinated client feedback, developer tasks and the launch plan. I ran QA across desktop and mobile, including form behaviour, contrast, layouts and legibility.

I also coordinated Google reCAPTCHA and SMTP2GO setup with the client, worked through DNS and domain access, and sent the launch and post-launch checklists.

The result

The website launched on 17 March 2026. Enquiry-form notifications were tested and confirmed as working after launch.

The project left Solar Care with a clearer repair-first proposition, a live enquiry path and a site structure ready for future growth. I did not claim traffic, lead or conversion figures because they were not available in the project records.
